I'm pretty sure if I had to choose three things in my closet to wear for the rest of my life I would take this belt, these shorts, and these shoes. I probably wear this belt three times a week (or more) and pretty much with anything; dresses, skirts, high waisted jeans, shorts, and over sweaters. Also, are you sick of these shorts yet? I know I just wore them, but I can't stop wearing them. Truly.

In other news, my best friend and roommate of two going on three years, Jenny, officially can move into our apartment! This is probably the most exciting thing to happen in college yet. The whole process was such a disaster that to get a place that is not only affordable but also clean (you wouldn't think that would be such a high standard) tickles me pink. It has two bedrooms with two attached bathrooms so we'll each have our own, walk in closets, a washer and dryer (hip hip hooray!), full kitchen, and it's all nearly brand new. All of those things are nice but probably my favorite part about it is that it's across the street from Target. I already applied for a job there which I'm hoping will relieve some of the many Target runs (literally) we'll make and contribute to rent money, but I'm pretty darn excited to have an apartment after living on campus for the past two years. The other day at work on my break, I scoured the internet for furniture and decorating ideas and found DIY's on pinterest to substitute for the chairs that cost hundreds of dollars and ridiculously expensive headboards, coat racks, pillows, and other things that would cost me two months of paychecks. My big splurge at the end of the summer will be on a Queen mattress and a plane ticket to Nashville to visit my friend, so I anticipate decorating, if at all, will have to be a bit of a crafty project. Nonetheless, I'm stoked.
