they sing raindrops

Hello! Are you surprised to see me back so soon?? Well...I'm seriously going to try this posting every 2-3 days thing. I'm aiming for 12 posts this month. That's 5 more than normal. We'll see how it goes.
Are these pictures not completely adorable?? My friend had us pose dressed up like cowpeople (thus, cowgirl attire and plaid) so that she could draw us for a fancy art contest of hers. I'm actually really excited to see the drawing. It's going to be a collage of NINE of these pictures in a sequence and a pretty big piece of work. Niklaas is the cutest. Thing. Ever. Agreed??
My favorite picture:) so blissful. And I'm smiling in the one below. Hahaha :)
cuteeee.
So! After THIS photoshoot, we went shopping for a birthday present and other various errands, but not before seeing a massive storm coming. Naturally, this meant it was time to go take pictures of the oncoming storm from our favorite spot (top of the world), which is where this next "photoshoot" took place!
Now, I hope you don't all hate me for buying duplicates of my blog giveaway for myself. Because I might have. And I might be wearing them and blogging them because I love them so much. But, hey! If you're lucky, you may be the lucky winner of this dress and the additional four!!
So this photoshoot was absolutely insane. The storm was literally minutes away and the wind was crazy!! My hair was blowing around the entire time and it was so loud!! It was definitely a blast. My dress was blowing around like crazy and my hair couldn't lay still. After we got our pictures, we threw the camera in the car and jumped and danced around in the rain which came down in buckets!! Lightning and thunder was going off every two seconds and it was like we were in the middle of a hurricane...in Idaho :). It was so, so cute. Boys and rain? :)
This dress is a little big on me, particularly on top, but I belted it to give it some "definition". The ruffles on the sleeve and down the front are positively adorable and I can totally see myself wearing it with a white cardi come fall and tights. It's so versatile!
I bet you're probably all thinking, "Wow, you live in such a hick town." Haha! Well...it's true. I live in a major farming community and my little town is nestled between these sort of rolling hills and mountains all around. It's gorgeous in the summer months. I am going to miss this place more than I know. I think of most everyone in my entire graduating class, I was the least excited to leave my hometown. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm excited to move to a bigger place and go to college and explore, but I really do love this little homely beautiful place.
check out that rain! You can't see our town at all. It's nestled in those hills :) Niklaas took this (and all of them)
boots- steve madden dress-thrifted hat- mexico :)
Oh! Another side note (I seem to be having lots of them today), I got horrible news yesterday!! I'm a big baby when it comes to needles and anything related to it, and at my orthodontist appointment yesterday, I found out that I have to get ORAL SURGERY to surgically remove my wisdom tooth that's buried in my gums and growing sideways. Gahhhhh!!!! It has to happen BEFORE I leave for college too. Crap. I anticipate a lot of complaining...
(hair=hot mess)
(I giggled a whole lot)
You all know about my Taylor Swift obsession, yeah?? Well, on August 16th, her new single comes out and I could NOT possibly be more excited. AHHHHH. Just wait. I'll be flipping out in a couple weeks :)
I must have dropped my hat about ten times. And ran after it ten times.
This was Niklaas' favorite picture of the day! Speaking of which...you can add him on twitter! Add him here :)! hahaha! You can add me too. At maggeygrace.
Have a good week everyone :) I'm posting again in two days! eep!

Love,
Maggie :)

cute boyfriend! how long have you two been dating??
it looks like you had fun!
i've had my oral surgery. It's seriously not that bad! I had the same deal too. They were in my gums growing sideways. It sucks for about two days. the day of the surgery and one more day. but after that it's seriously okay. don't even worry about it!

I have to have my wisdom teeth out soon too! I was hoping I wouldn't because they're growing in straight, but they've been giving me trouble lately. Sooooo out they go!

These pictures are absolutely amazing. You two are a very cute couple, but I'm sure you get that a lot. haha

I know living in a small town definitely has some disadvantages, but one positive thing is that it's not overly populated and it's usually quite lovely for photos, as you have proven here. :)

Maggey, this is by far my favourite post ever ever ever of yours!
I love the two of you.
And the "cowpeople" shoot.
And the storm/crazy hair shoot.
All of it!

And a word about wisdom teeth...some people say it's bad. I got mine out last year and guess what? It was totally okay. I mean, my teeth were super super yucky and painful BEFORE the surgery, but I just slept right through everything and came home. And didn't even sleep at all afterwards. Or have swelling or anything. It was fine!
And I am not a naturally lucky kind of person, so...don't fear the surgery too much. It will be okay, I promise!

Cute :)

And hey, don't sweat it about your wisdom teeth. I had all six of mine cut out (That's right... I said six. I'm apparently really good at growing teeth.) and I really don't remember a thing. I was getting sleepy off the gas, and said "Is it IV time?" to the doctor, and the next thing I knew, I was laying on the couch the day after. :)

OHMYGOSH. You two are adorable. Love the little photoshoot. I wish one of our friends would offer to do the same thing with me and David. When we come and visit you and Nik can take pics for us so we can have some nice ones to frame :) Deal? Love that blue dress... and the scenery is beautiful. Reminds me of my home town in Tasmania. So green and farmery.<haha, that is now a word. I added it to my dictionary.

Love you Mags!
