happier.

Blogging is great. Not just because it means the sweater you improperly tucked into your skirt gets captured on camera. Sometimes, it means you befriend stylish people that can tell you what to wear when your clothes haven't found their way into the closet yet and are a snapchat video away from a does this work? confirmation. Dillon and Kylee, you are my spirit animals.

Today I hit a new PR for running and while I promise this isn't going to become a running blog, I was practically crying in my car when it was over out of sheer sweaty joy. Sure, I'm going to try this half marathon training thing, but do I actually think I can do it!? Hardly. Barely! But two weeks ago I didn't think I'd be able to run as far as I have and I can only imagine how it's going to feel when I can run 7, 9, and 11 miles. Saying it now feels like an impossible idea that I'll ever be able to run that far. A far off dream that belongs in Narnia.

On that note, today I'm starting my new job as a Nanny! Being back in Montana with a new major, job, and goals in hand I'm starting to feel like things are coming together. I firmly believe things happen for a reason and with everything that went wrong last year, I'm starting to discover why they did. Simply put, I wouldn't be this me without last year. And I wouldn't change a thing.

LASTLY, I am officially going to promise a video tutorial on how I curl my hair so that you can all hold me to it.

Gosh dang it Maggey! I rarely get teary eyed over a blog post, but of course you make it happen. Haha

I couldn't agree with you more. If I had a motto it would probably be that everything happens for a reason. I have been doing a lot of reflecting lately. Last year was filled with so much chaos and hearbreak, but I now realize why those things happened. I am amazed out how far I have come, and I am love who I have become. You seriously put it so perfectly. I wouldn't change it for a thing.

Well I am going to finish my novel of a comment once again. You really have become someone I look up to. Your positive outlook, and just being silly and happy. That is exactly how things should be. So thank you. OF COURSE I have to comment on the oufit. In LOVE with this skirt girl! That color is brilliant.

Your hair is always so cute. I'd love to see that tutorial. I'm so glad that things seem to be going on the right track for you so far this year. And a new job as a nanny? Sounds so exciting! What's your new major?

About the outfit: I LOVE the skirt. It's so flowy and such a rich color!

MAGGIE. I want to go running with you. It would be so fun. Although preferably in warmer temperatures than this... But that's fantastic that you're seeing yourself progress so far. Such a great feeling. And good luck with your new job as well. It seems like things are coming together for you right now, and that's wonderful.

The best feeling is the world is looking back on things that really sucked in the past and knowing you're better off because of them. My freshman year of college was pretty tumultuous, but I have grown up so much because of it and now my sophomore year is kickin'! I'm glad you are loving running so much. Working towards a goal is awesome and, even as a collegiate cross country runner, I admire your dedication for running in the cold weather!

Welcome to the nanny life! :) Love your outfit! Everything definitely happens for a reason. For some reason it gets easier to understand as you get older and start seeing all the steps that got you to where you are.

Everything does happen for a reason and even if it means sometimes things are hard...it is so nice when things do start coming together!

I just died laughing from the spinning picture! LAWLZZZ. THAT FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are so beautiful! Do you know that? Your outfits are stunning and I fall in love with them more and more as time goes by.

You are absolutely correct about going through last year to get to this year. You are the best part of Maggie we have seen so far. And I absolutely love that. I also lvoe the fact that I've been through exactly the same things back in 2009 to become who I am now. I wouldn't trade those mistakes for anything.
