Hello!
My, oh my. The days just seem to be passing more and more quickly lately.
Only 16 days until I graduate and am done with this High School business forever! Hurrahh!!!
So. This week a dream come true came true for me! I've been so envious of many of you bloggers who have sweet men to take your pictures. Especially over the past month and a half that I've had to take them myself because my blog has become a little secret of mine. But, really, all of you speak so highly of your dears and your photoshoots always look like they are so much fun- I've been jealous!
Welll... I was able to convince MY dear to take mine! Actually. Let me say that again because really, it didn't take any convincing at all. He asked me first! It was one of those pinch-myself-am-I-dreaming??? moments because, holy cow, I've wanted to do this for so long. He has a fancy snazzy camera too- it was just too perfect.
We spent our open period on Thursday taking pictures. It was the PERFECT day. 75 degrees. Sunny. Hardly a cloud in the sky. Light breeze. We followed the train tracks that meander through and about the rolling hills of our lovely state until we were out of public's eye. And standing there on those train tracks with him in the gorgeous sunshine with the mountains and green hills surrounding us- it was a picturesque beautiful moment. I just wanted it to last forever.

In case you had not yet noticed...I cut my bangs!! It was kind of a big deal for me. I've sort of been stressed about school and cramming a billion things into my schedule over the past few weeks. Needing some kind of outlet...cutting my hair was I guess you could say, my form of "rebelling". My viewpoint of rebelling probably much , much more low key than the typical form of "rebellion", but for me, it was exactly what I needed. A small but significant change. It's something I've fought myself to do for yearss! After seeing 500 days of summer, though, I knew I had to do it one day. So last week, it was the day to take that chance.
These pictures were really so so much fun to take.
I have so many blog posts planned! I FINALLLY got my prom pictures back so I'm going to do a post all about that this week. And then I have another shoot planned with my dear and another special post planned that I pretty much have all written out!
What are your summer plans? eeeee. I'm SO excited. SO SO excited. I pretty much slaved the past 4 summers of my life strictly to soccer but now that I will be a graduated high school player...it means freedom! Getting up at 6 am everyday for the past 4 years to run was HORRIBLE. It means I will actually be able to get out of the house and see people- an unheard of thing for me!
The water picture was one of his favorites.
the dear himself!! he was really cute with his camera, let me tell you. gah, he's so wonderful. so wonderful. this summer is going to be fantastic!!

Love that dress too. I saw it on Forever21 and considered buying it myself. Hehe!
I don't have summer plans but my winter ones are to move away :p This is going to be THE coldest winter I have had for 6 months. I am going to need to stock up on jumpers and tights, luckily I already have 15 scarves :D
You look great, glad you had so much fun taking these!
aww! you really need to submit a story to Tieka at selective potential, she rounds up bloggers who get their guys to take pictures every month, it is an adorable feature!
cool dress, love how you paired it with the tights
You are so adorable! Good luck with your final days of school. They are bitter sweet. Try to enjoy every last bit, even the tough ones. It will all be over before you know it! These pictures are so cute! Great team the two of you make!

So cute...
I just cut my hair and EVERY time I debate on whether to have a fringe (what we call bangs here in Australia) but I had one when I was little and I think it would make me look like a 3-year-old again...!! However I am going to dye my hair black... stop by to check out the results later this week, if I get around to it that is!
These photos are soooo pretty! I love the title and design of your blog :-)

Oh, and I just totally laughed my ruffle bum off at your comment!!! I've always been afraid that would happen to me! (sans bikini--AVEC clothes, mind you, such embarrassment my mind does not regularly dream up, though now it might!)

Wow what darling photos and a great dress! Congrats on being done with high school soon!
AWWW :DD i'm so happy for you that your bf offered to take your photos for you!! haha i had to be shameless and ask my bf because i got so sick and tired of using the stupid tripod and self timer which was terribleee at focusing!!
anyway glad you guys had a nice time! :DD it's something to make memories out of!! haha just as long as it doesn't get too consuming... because there are times when i think my bf gets REAlly sick of taking my photos for me and i end up having to cut short the photo taking time just so he doesn't get too exasperated....
but one thing at a time... ;p
wowww soccer practice!!! that sounds so tiring... 6 a.m. every morning is so draconian!! but at least it was a healthy way to spend your summers! so what are you gonna do now that you don't have practice anymore?
your blog layout is basically the cutest thing ever!
naomi.
I love how you made one of these adorable photos your blog header! You really are an adorable lifesize paperdoll!!!!
Beautiful pics! You look great, and i love you city!!
