keep on running

I've never posted when I'm crabby because usually I just force myself to back away from the computer and do something more productive than whine on the internet, but seeing as I have to wake up early and will have no time to write one, here I am! Well, it's less that I'm crabby and more that I'm really, really tired. Apparently, my brain wanted to wake itself up really early this weekend but not get tired early at night. Hum. That means two horrible sleepless nights of an already reduced amount of it. Tomorrow, though, I have a date with the yoga mat and elliptical so those endorphins will provide some necessary happiness and rest, I hope!

School is killing me already and I'm barely three weeks in! However, I spent my Friday and Saturday night doing homework trying to get ahead before I can fall behind, and I'm just counting down the days until I get to go home on the 18th! By that time, it will have been a month since I've been home! It seems like last semester, I went home every single weekend, and this semester, I definitely can't afford that. So these little weekends will be my treat! I'm so excited!

I know this is a very, very boring post. So, I'm just going to say that the entire top half of this outfit is Niklaas'. He has the cutest flannel and comfiest cardigans...I couldn't help myself! He has a gift for finding soft plaid! I've always wanted to try the knee high sock thing, and while I"m not a convert, I think I need to explore the idea more thoroughly. Jasmine sent me this adorable bow and it made my day when she sent it! I feel like her when I wear it:) We were so cold taking these pictures. The snow was the light, fluffy, tiny kind that takes forever to melt and it was at least 15 degrees outside. Yuck!!!

Looking at these pictures makes me so, so sad because I wore these tights yesterday on a little bit of an adventure and tore them on a fence. Not fence hopping either, would would have been kind of a lot of B.A. , I just fell down a hill and tore them on the fence. Wah! They are my perfect little gems and I always feel like I'm getting my heart broken by runs in my opaque tights! I've probably had to replace opaque patterned tights at least five times. Womp womp womp.

Well, anyways, I'm going to go to bed and wake up to a new, better day! Yay! I hope you all have a good Monday. It's snowing outside so I'm really hoping it melts by the time we wake up. Which is highly unlikely. I'm sick of the snow and cold!

I keep on running, keep on running and nothing works. I can't stop missing you.

your blog is so so lovely! There is nothing worse that ripping a pair of tights, I have many favourite tights which are now more ladders and holes than actual tights haha! cant for for school to end either, happy yoga-ing too ! :D x

You look so cute! This is one of my favorite outfits. I love the tights with the socks and the plaid flannel. So good! You look so comfy and cozy. And your red cheeks make me smile!! I love when people turn pink from the cold. Is that weird? Haha. Have a great week!! :)

LOVE the plaid! And that last picture is so lovely.

Good luck with school miss Maggey! You seem pretty driven, so I wouldn't worry too much. (:

Thanks for the sweet comment! I totally love your tights! I've been looking for some like that for a while!

I have those exact tights from Urban and they had a few runs in them after my first wear. I think their accessories are just cheaply made. I'm having a busy week at school too! Hope you make it through everything okay. I know what you mean about going home. My freshman year I went home every other weekend pretty much. I went home once already this semester but last semester I only went home for Thanksgiving! Eek. Not fun.

Oh no! Sleepless nights are never good, especially when combined with mega stressfulness. :/ That is definitely good to try and get as much work as you can done ahead of time too. That's what I do rather than kill myself procrastinating and then waiting til the last minute. I bet you can't wait to get to visit home!

I wish I had a wonderful boyfriend to lend me his stylishly comfy clothes. :) Absolutely stunning photos as usual.

I do love those tights a lot, so that's a shame they got torn.... you should just say it happened while you were running away from a bear, or something, y'know, to make it somewhat more exciting. ;P

I hope the rest of your week goes smoothly!

I hope you had a better day today! And I'm sorry about your tights. That always stinks when they get torn or have a run in them :(

Love your outfit though! :)

I HATE tearing a good pair of tights. And I never get used to runs. Some girls wear them till they fall apart and they still look cool! Your outfit looks so comfy and I adore the socks!

I HATE when tights get torn so I can sympathize but I LOVE your outfit.

Also, I really enjoy the song you quoted by Kid Cudi. :)

(I would write more, yet I suppose comments shouldn't be novels and that I, like you, am pretty tired whilst writing this.)

Take care, m'dear!

I love those tights! I feel your pain, I can only wear tights once before throwing them away. I always ladder them! So frustrating!
Thanks for your lovely blog comment :)

maggey grace, chocolates are another source of endorphins :D ...and paychecks (for artificial happiness)! although, you're still studying right? :) so I guess, only chocolates for you. :D

Aww you don't have to be cute and peppy all the time Maggie <3 We're all allowed our crabby days :) You look cute though in this outfit! I LOOOOOOOOOOVE the tights! I hope everything turns around for you really soon!

Ebony said...

Oh yes! I steal the guy's cardis and plaid shirts too :DDD Twins!
Sorry school is stressful. I'm sure it will come round and you'll be kicking it's butt again soon. And that's well crap about your tights :( Maybe now you'll go on the hunt and find an even cuter pair though! Or be shopping trying to replace them and run into an old friend. Everything happens for a reason.

Your little pink nose in these is so so cute Mags! Eep!
