I went back through some of my old blog posts yesterday and it kind of struck me how much things around here have changed. I've always blogged for the same purpose and I don't think the content has changed drastically, but I would say that my writing and narrative has changed. It's actually pretty embarrassing to read some of the posts I wrote when I was 16/17. I want to slap myself in the forehead rereading certain posts. But, unfortunately, I realize that we all probably look back at ourselves at a certain age and think we were all pretty ridiculous and in another couple of years, I'll probably think I sound ridiculous this very second. Unavoidable.
It's safe to say that I am a big fan of colored denim. I've worn these pants three times already and I already have my eye on another pair for fall. Today for the first time in a while, though, I got ready to post these pictures and felt a little bit underwhelmed because yet again, it's another "separates" post. Oops. Have no fear, I have a dress on today. Things will change up here pretty soon, I promise!
Let's just be honest here, everything about this post and the experience we had taking these pictures felt so very "Idaho". How many times when I take pictures do I get stopped to ask if everything is alright on the back country roads? Every single time. Also, as soon as we stepped outside of the car, we heard the loud "BAHH!" that was the sound of four sheep looking at us like we were dinner. Yeah, I'm going to miss Idaho when I go back to Montana in a few weeks.

You always look so adorable in polka dots!! I love the pops of color in the jeans and shoes, so cute. And is that your subaru?! Sweeeet, my bf is obsessed with Subaru lol
I feel the exact same way re-reading posts. Some are definitely cringe worthy. I'm glad I haven't rashly deleted them, though. They're going to stay so I can laugh at myself and remind me that I'm not perfect.
That goat is so cute.
I love scenery and your outfit! I think I might have to get with the colored pants movement.
P.S. I posted a comment on one or two of your Flickr photos, just so you know.
This outfit is too cute! I mean, polka dots and color jeans? Great photos too!
You look so pretty! I love the pink pants and polka dots. Perfect!
I so hear you about cringing over former things you've written! I don't have that issue with my blog, because it's still fairly new, but I read over some old Facebook posts a while back and died of embarrassment. Happens to all of us! :)
I must've caught the polka-dot-bug from you because I just bought another polka dot top and I'll probably wear my polka dot skirt sometime soon. It's quickly becoming your signature print, such a change from the florals from last year! :) You pull off colored denim so well too! Oh and I have definitely looked back on old posts and thought to myself "what were you thinking in wearing/writing that?!" But that's all part of the growing process :) I do think though all your posts from this Summer should be nothing you should ever be ashamed of. They've all been amazing<3 Update me via email soon! (:
you look soo cute in jeans. especially this color! and polka dots. forever.
Idaho seems fun! I'd love to visit it sometime - all we have in Illinois is corn and soy beans. :-P
I totally don't blame you for all the separates love lately! I think you gave me the bug! I've been watching Jane By Design going "I want alllll her skirts and blouses and cardigans!" So I went out and bought some. Yep, separates are worth the hype. ;D
(Oh! And I totally know what you mean about sounding redicilous to yourself! I get that all the time when I read old blog posts! *sighs* That is the way of life, I guess...)
Awesome outfit, dude!
Absolutely adoring your style lately lady!!
I cringe reading back on some of my old posts, eeck but I guess they help us get to where we are!
