pretty pretty please

As much as I detested High School, I find myself loving my visits that are becoming more and more frequent. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I am graduated, I don't have to go there by force, I can do exactly what I want, I don't have to be there for eight whole hours, and my sister is there. I know a lot of siblings hate going to school with eachother, but I am honestly so jealous of everyone that does! I guess we just have that sort of relationship (as she said the other day, "We aren't embarrassed by being related to one another,") but it is honestly the highlight of my day to spend forty five minutes eating lunch with my sister and her friends or my best friend Jenni. Meeting the people I only know through her words and talking to my old teachers that fell in love with me that have fallen in love with her is so delightful. I think it's because so much of our day is consumed at school and it's a part of our lives our family doesn't get to see, so, getting to see that part is kind of a treat.

Tomorrow night, my dad has a possible movie date with Niklaas and his dad. It's kind of funny and crazy to me. I mean, while it might not really be a big deal and I'm sure I'm making too much of it, them hanging out is kind of really cool. That our parents are "bonding" makes me giggle! I'm absolutely dumbfounded that we're nine months into this now. Nine months! It seems that most of my blogging friends are in pretty serious relationships that have years on mine, but to me, nine months is absolutely crazy. And to reach the point that our parents are in any way "friends" because of us? Well, that's just nifty!

I was lucky enough to spend Christmas in a place with an Urban Outfitters this year and achieved my life-long (okay, in my two years that I've known of their being) dream of attending the After-Christmas sale. I begged and begged my mom and to my luck, she let me go! I got money from my relatives the day before and was able to buy quite a few things. I saw this dress immediately and literally squealed when it was only $4.99! $4.99! Can you believe it?? It was originally $80! I was so, so excited. The colors are so darling. Of course, I did get home and realize that it was actually a romper, but it's comfortable and fits, so that's alright.

Someone on a post earlier said that they loved how "colorful" I am in the winter. It made me smile! Now whenever I wear "colors" I think about that! I've had these mustard yellow tights for a few months but haven't really worn them yet. One of my friends, Leah (who could be a blogging icon and kick my blogging butt any day), is the QUEEN of yellow tights and, secretly, when styling them, I said to myself, "How would Leah wear these?" Florals, of course! And so my new romper and yellow tights were debuted. The cardigan I'm wearing is actually Niklaas'. I swear, dating a hipster is the best thing that's ever happened to me. Which is funny, because I'm definitely not hip in the slightest. Not in personality, at least. Maybe on my flannel days, a tad. Borrowing cardigans and getting adorable boots for graduation? Score.

If you guys don't know Alex, you should go visit her. She is one of my blogging pals and I sincerely adore her. She sends me necklaces and I just want to bow at her feet. I am not a jewelry buyer for some reason and the only jewelry I wear are the two necklaces she sends me. I can't figure out why I don't buy jewelry, but I literally never venture near jewelry sections. Ever! It's weird. Very weird. Anyways, I love her dearly for it and I love her dearly because she is such a sweet and adorable pen-pal. I thought I needed to fully acknowledge her and her supplying me with adorable necklaces. Have a wonderful Friday!

I don't know why'd you say it was weird shaped or something! I mean, your second hats looks like that!!! It is just awesome! I will wear it when it's really windy :P I can't believe you don't go through the jewelry! I think it's the best part :P oh, God... I have a feeling I would really like high school, if it didn't involve me actually having the stress of dealing with tests of course, haha... :P A bunch of graduates always come back and visit the teachers and everything and I can't wait til that's me! And that's kind of awesome that your families are having bonding experiences, haha. :) Nine months is a long time indeed!

Holy crap, from $80 to $4.99? That's amazing! Alright, that settles it. Next After-Christmas I am begging my mom to take me even though it's an hour away. Wait, no, hopefully by then I'll have my license! I can drive myself! Heck yes. Hahaha. But yeah, I agree that having such colorful outfits during the winter always adds a brightness to the day. :D

I love that dress! I can't believe you got it for only five dollars! I actually ended up at Urban Outfitters' after Christmas sale sort of accidentally. My sister left her phone in my dad's car on Christmas night, and so we had to bring it to her the next day (she lives in manhattan), and there was an Urban Outfitters right near her apartment so after some pleading, I got to go! I had no idea how great the sales were going to be though!
Also, congratulations on nine months! That really is a long time :)

I love looking at people's wishlists as well :p It's not really my thing to make one though! I feel selfish :x I really like your outfit! Love the bright cardigan. WOW, $4.99 for the dress?! What a great price, especially for Urban Outfitters! And yes, you are very colorful! I like it =)

I always feel awkward commenting on old blog post, and I say that because I just went through 6 of yours. (they had seriously piled up since the new year, sorry!!)

Holy cow you scored a deal on that dress, I am really impressed! It's really pretty. And I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who has donned yellow tights. You made them look way more normal than me.

I will hopefully become a regular reader now, I just had a lot of blogs to catch up on! I can't wait to see all these posts that you and Niklaas have shot together, you've really built them and have my attention! :)
