just the way you are.

HI! I'm really, really excited that for the most part, my Vlog wasn't hated and that a few of you made it all the way through. I was seriously so worried that it was going to receive no feedback and I would feel like a fool! Haha! I think I may continue to do vlogs but on a smaller scale :) 25 minutes is much too long for even me to record, let alone for you all to watch!

College, as I talked about in my vlog, is wonderful!!! I don't know if it's just being in college or being in a new place that has me so happy. Probably both? I mean, the whole college experience has been a little overwhelming at times, but just being in a new place and not feeling like I'm wasting my life away rotting in high school surrounded by interesting people is SO amazing!

I've started to meet girls on my dorm floor :). It's so funny because for the first four days here, I was silent. I didn't make any attempt to really talk to people because I was so nervous and shy and akward, but at the floor meeting, a girl started talking about Sonny With A Chance and bam! There I was! Talking and snorting and giggling loudly in full scale! So, since then, I've opened up and I'm really starting to talk and socialize!

I miss Niklaas a lot :). He sent me a package with a vest I forgot at home after I tweeted about it along with a letter. I have to admit, as sucky as it is being apart, I'm starting to learn that because of how we are, it isn't absolutely crucial to be in the same place. We talk all the time and on the phone almost daily. The whole being in the same place every single day thing now seems like just a bonus hahaa :). I don't think I could stand being apart for months, but seeing each other every few weeks seems like it'll be just fine.

I didn't really mean to blab about him just now, but that's what happened. Ooops! What I meant to say was that I miss Niklaas and our photoshoots as well! This is one from the summer I've been saving for a while. This was my second experiment with the whole sock and shoes trend. I chose to use patterned socks this time just because they were fun. Hehe. The night we took these was the textbook definition of perfect. We found this amazing (or at least, Niklaas found it) white church on a hill with a beautiful cemetery overlooking the rolling hills! We took pictures, walked around looking at the graves, and cuddled up on a bench at the top of the hill as it progressively grew darker. I ate my happy kids meal from McDonalds consisting of chicken nuggets and fries! Such good summer memories:) We have so much fun!

As far as the rest of the outfit goes...I got this shirt for my birthday and I love it! Everything about it is perfect. My dad thought it was too "risqué" but...ehh! So it goes. I love the detail at the top and my favorite part is the unexpected back. So cute!! I've had these awesome floral shorts for the longest time but didn't get around to photographing them for summer until now. Oooops! They are so comfy...and sooo short. As much as I love the flounce short trend, I have to say, I really don't like the shortness in the back. If they were shorts, it wouldn't be an issue, but everyone always thinks I'm wearing a really short mini skirt! And it's not true! Gah! But no worries, I wear spandex everytime :)

This constant homework, making new friends, living on my own thing has me exhausted silly. So, I think I"m going to turn off my computer, plug in my phone, curl up in bed with a book, and text Niklaas till I fall asleep :)

I can't complain about a thing.
